Z Wave Usb Stick Synology

With a bit of digging it turns out the synology nas was not recognizing the usb stick as a serial communication device.

I have run openhab 2 1 0 in a docker container on a synology dsm and when i will add the z wave stick i get the status. And in dsm 6 2 ttyacm0 my aeotec usb stick shows up while in dsm7 0 ttyacm0 is absent. Which java platform is used and what version openhab version. I guess it is kinda late but as this thread is coming up among the first ones on a google search with z wave and synology i wanted to add that this information.

Thanks a lot this post helped to get the z wave uzb1 stick running on the synology nas. It s a test. The home assistant package has support for both z wave devices and wink so i picked up a usb z wave stick to see if i could get that to work. 2 1 0 issue of the topic.

The package was easy to set up and i was able to control some things from my wink hub but haven t been able to find clear instructions on setting up the z wave support. This is because out of box there are no cp210x drivers installed that are necessary for my combo z wave zigbee stick.
